Installation & Parts
We suggest you hire an experienced plumber. Our bathtubs have the drain already installed. If the bathtub has an overflow, it will already be connected to the bathtub drain. All the plumber needs to do is attach the bathtub drain to the floor drain. The preferred method of installation is direct to plumbing. Please see the general freestanding bathtubs installation instructions file.
We also include an optional flexible drain hose. If the optional flexible drain hose is needed for installation due to inability to move the floor drain or no underneath access, one end of the flexible drain hose attaches to the bathtub drain and the other end will need to be attached to the floor drain by using a transition piece that you can find at any home improvement store.
Maintenance:
Your new bathtub is designed for years of trouble-free performance. Keep it looking new by cleaning it periodically with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, and harsh chemicals as these will scratch, dull, and/or damage the finish and void the warranty.
Safety Tips:
Inspect bathtub to ensure no damages have occurred while in shipping. Observe all plumbing and building codes in accordance with your state and local requirements. Read installation and maintenance instructions thoroughly before installing the faucet. Be sure to use proper tools and always wear proper personal safety accessories for your protection. Protect your eyes with safety glasses when cutting or soldering water supply lines. Confirm that your model will fit in the intended location and plumbing fixtures are located where legally required before beginning installation.
