Product Description:
As the seasons change from summer to fall to winter, Ember radiant panels allow homeowners to retain the warmth of the sun – indoors. Like the sun, Ember radiant panels emit infrared waves to heat the surfaces and objects in a room instead of the air. By doing this, warmth is stored longer and released slowly and more evenly into the air. Additionally, the ambient air temperature might be cooler, but you will feel warmer. Without taking up much wall space, this 2.9- by 2-foot white Ember radiant panel can be mounted to any wall in a home to bring supplementary or primary heat to a room. Unlike convection heating, this panel does not circulate dust or other allergens into the air. Plus, it can be multi-functional. Use the Ember radiant panel to heat up a room, or attach towel bars to a vertically mounted unit to create a unique, stylish towel warmer.
These panels are also dual connection, meaning they can be used “as is” to plug into a standard 120 VAC outlet or they can be modified by a licensed electrician to have a hardwired 120 VAC electrical connection.
Note: Towel bars must be purchased separately.
Features:
- Wall Mounted: This 35” x 24” radiant panel comes with DIY-friendly plug-in connection (120 VAC) and can be installed vertically or horizontally on your wall

FAQ
How do you keep a sunroom warm in the winter?
Sunrooms can be very cold during the winter months. While a furnace may push some warm air into the room, the large number of windows, exterior walls, and other causes of heat loss in a sunroom will typically keep it from having a comfortable temperature level. Floor heating and radiant panels will add radiant heat, which the human body absorbs faster than other forms of heat, to the room so that it feels warm even at lower temperatures.
How far from the radiant panel will the heat substantially radiate and where should it be aimed?
Radiant heat travels through air, and typically heats up objects closer to the panel first and then the rest of the room later. Infrared heating from the panel can be easily detected from about 3-4 feet. Ideally, the radiant panel should be aimed onto the area with more use, since that will be the surface that will warm up first.
What should I do if my Ember radiant panel won’t heat up?
Verify 120V power at the connection of the panel to the circuit at the junction box in the wall (for hardwired connections), or at the outlet (for plug-in connections). Each Ember heater has a built-in safety switch that turns off the heating element automatically if it overheats. By unplugging or disconnecting the unit and waiting for about 10 to 15 minutes, the safety switch will reset automatically and the unit will be operational again.
If you experience additional issues, please give us a call at 1-800-875-5285.
How hot is the infrared heating system when in use?
The heater is very hot during use (depending on model, up to 125° C or 257ºF).
What should I do if my Ember radiant panel won’t heat up?
Verify 120V power at the connection of the panel to the circuit at the junction box in the wall (for hardwired connections), or at the outlet (for plug-in connections). Only the 35" x 24" and 47" x 24" Ember Flex radiant panels (IP-EM-FLX-WHT-0500-CW and IP-EM-FLX-WHT-0700-CW) can be mounted from the ceiling and come with all of the necessary hardware to accomplish this.
The 35" x 12" Ember Flex panel and all panels from the Ember Glass and Ember Mirror lines can't be mounted from the ceiling.
The heat conductor is carbon fiber pressed in an epoxy ceramic resin.
No, radiant panel heaters are designed and rated to be installed outside of shower or bath enclosure?
There is no on/off button. If you're using your dual connection Ember panel in the plug-in configuration, it can be unplugged when not in use or paired with compatible plug-in control devices like a timer. If you've elected to convert your dual connection panel to a hardwired connection, the panel should wired to a hardwired control option like a switch, a hardwired timer, or a hardwired thermostat.
Panels are not designed for painting/drawing over, such use will void the warranty of the product.
How close to a shower or bath can the panel be mounted?
Panels installed in a bathroom should be installed in compliance with your local electrical code, or at least 2 feet away from the perimeter of a wet area (shower or bath enclosure).
What is the polarity of the heating cable/mat?
Electric-resistance heating cables and systems have no polarity. This includes all current WarmlyYours heating elements.
