The ZLINE Vail Stainless Steel Sink is hand crafted and intuitively designed to offer the most efficient washing experience. With functionality and bold design in mind, each sink offers: Industrial grade rust-resistant stainless steel ensuring durability and longevity, extra deep, high capacity bowls/basins offering maximum room for any size wash job, and creased accent lines and basin sloping creating superior drainage and providing more usable space - eliminating free standing water 3 times faster than our competitors. All ZLINE sinks have garbage disposal compatibility (sold separately) and are designed geometrically to silence sound and create a quieter work space. Installation and Parts
Before Installation
Inspect the sink for any visible defects. Do not install the sink if defects are found. Call
customer service at 1-614-777-5004 for assistance. Please keep in mind that ZLINE
fireclay sinks are handcrafted and have a +/- 2% variance on the dimensions.
Installation
1. Preparing the Cabinets
Make sure that the tank will not interfere with cabinet doors or panels. Ensure that
there is enough space for the water supply installation.
2. Build a Support Frame
Fireclay sinks need support due to their weight. Install 2x4s underneath the sink to
reinforce it. Create both vertical and horizontal supports.
3. Insert the Sink
Insert the sink on the support frame. Apply silicone-based sealant to each corner
between the frame and the sink.
Maintenance Tips
Dos and Don'ts:
Do rinse thoroughly after each use.
Do towel dry after each use to prevent mineral deposits from building up on the
surface of the sink.
Do clean the sink once a week.
Do wax the sink once a month.
Do Not allow soap or other household cleansers to dry on the surface of the sink.
Do Not use abrasive cleaners to clean your sink.
Safety Tips
The installer and/or user must read, understand, and follow these instructions before
installing the product. This product must be properly installed before it is used. If
instructions are not followed, the manufacturer will not be held responsible for any
problems or product malfunction. Failure to follow installation and/or operating
instructions voids the warranty.
We recommend that this product be installed by a certified plumber. In some states
or provinces, it is a legal requirement for this type of product to be installed by a
certified plumber, according to the plumbing and building codes effective in the
region where the sink is used.
DO NOT attempt to install this sink yourself. Injury could result from installing the unit
due to lack of appropriate plumbing and technical background. Due to the size and
weight of this sink, a two person installation is recommended.
It is recommended that the cabinet maker waits until the sink is delivered to construct
the cabinets.
Shut off the water valves before installing the sink or doing any maintenance.
Disconnect the power to the dishwasher and garbage disposal.
Open the sink packaging and verify that the sink is in perfect condition. Put the sink
back in its packaging to protect it until time of installation. Do not install the sink if
defects are found. Call customer service at 1-614-777-5004 for assistance. Please
keep in mind that ZLINE fireclay sinks are handcrafted and have a +/- 2% variance
on the dimensions.
Care
Easy Cleaning Instructions
Fireclay sinks can be washed with dish soap and water. A rinse and towel drying
after each use will take care of most everyday clean ups.
Scratches
Matte finishes tend to show more markings. Markings that appear to be scratches
are typically residue left by metal cutlery or pots and pans. It is recommended to
use a utility grid (included with apron mount models) to reduce the appearance of
markings. Markings can be removed with a diamond sponge or a Scotch-Brite™ pad
and baking soda.
Chips
Fireclay sinks are extremely resistant to chips, but if any small chips are found, there
are repair kits available at most local hardware stores.
Food
Food can easily become stuck in the corners of the fireclay sink due to its shape. Rinse
out all food particles to keep the sink clean.

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail. This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase. As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment. If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail. If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.
Shipping
Faucetgennie.com offers free Standard Shipping on all orders over $75 as a courtesy to our customers. We make every effort to provide as accurate shipping times as possible, but these may vary depending on the shipping company and are beyond our control. If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days (usually in 2 days) from the date of your order, but some special or custom products may take up to six weeks. This will be clearly stated on the Shipping Section of the Product Page. We will send you a tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out. If you do not receive a tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at orders@faucetgennie.com.
Faucetgennie.com will not be held liable for any extra shipping charges made as a result of customer absence, incorrect shipping addresses, or package refusal (please follow our Inspection Guide). If you reject any shipment from Faucetgennie.com, you will be responsible for all delivery costs, as well as the expense of returning the package to the manufacturer and restocking fees. This amount will be deducted from the total.
Please keep in mind that we do not cover the additional costs of shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico.
Return Policy
You may return an item for a refund of the merchandise total within 30 days of delivery. Call our Customer Service Department so that we can contact our carrier to schedule a pick-up for the item. Return credits are issued within 48 hours once the item is received and inspected. Please note, if you return an item the return shipping costs will be deducted from your total refund amount.
Items must be in new condition and in the original packaging to qualify for a refund. There are no refunds or exchanges on installed or used items.
Prior to shipping, all products from ZLINE Vendor are individually inspected to verify that they leave our facility in brand-new condition. We re-package all our products well so they arrive on your doorstep undamaged. If your item arrived damaged or defective, we are happy to arrange for a prompt replacement. Contact our Customer Care Department at 1-833-597-2461 within 48 hours.
Before installing your unit, please test the item(s) for proper functionality by plugging it into the wall and testing the fan and lights. If unit does not work, please contact customer service right away.

Do you charge a sales tax?
Orders shipped within the state of Ohio are subject to Ohio State sales tax (currently 6.75%). Orders shipped outside of the state of Ohio are not subject to sales tax.

What is your return policy?
Prior to shipping, all Range Hood Store products are individually inspected to verify that they leave our facility in brand-new condition. We recommend that all customers inspect the packages immediately upon delivery, and test the item(s) for proper functionality prior to installation.
If shipping damage is discovered, please contact us within 7 business days from date of delivery. After 7 business days, it will be the customer’s responsibility to file a damage claim with the shipping company. The Range Hood Store will assist the customer in filing the damage claim, if required to do so by the shipping company.
It is the customer’s responsibility to consult their ventilation specialist prior to purchase in order to assure that the product will fit its intended application, as well as comply with local building codes.
All products to be returned for a refund are subject to a 20% restocking fee, and must be shipped at the customer’s expense.
General terms (applicable to ALL returns):
• All returns must have return authorization from The Range Hood Store prior to shipment.
• Shipping charges, customs duties, brokerage fees, and local taxes, are not refundable.
• Special-order items or altered items cannot be returned.
• Items must be received in the original packaging materials, including the original, securely sealed box, Styrofoam panels, accessories, and instruction manual.
• Items returned for a refund must be received in perfect condition, free from scratches, dents, or any other damage.
